Your goal is to make the best city possible in each location, managing your citizen’s happiness while also trying to ensure your city has the resources it needs.īut unlike the daunting experience that Cities VR put us through, Little CIties is way more approachable – and its first-person perspective will be a lot less frightening for those who can't handle heights. It has an intuitive control scheme that is as cute as it is simple, and it blends perfectly with the toy-like aesthetics of the world you’re building.Īs you progress you’ll unlock new islands to build cities on, each with its own unique mechanics – including one that had a volcano that burnt our structures down on more than one occasion (we should have built more fire stations). Little Cities is a city sim built from the ground up for VR and is the best example of the genre on the Quest 2. With its charming characters - including the brilliant voice acting of Wil Wheaton - and spy-cliché filled story, I Expect You To Die 2 delivers a splendid balance of grand adventure, humor, and puzzles that will leave you feeling like a genius and an idiot in equal measure. Sometimes you’ll be left feeling a little more like Austin powers than 007, but even if you fail over a dozen times this laugh-out-loud VR title won’t ever leave you feeling annoyed. The headset itslf is still yeat to be shown, and we know it won't be coming this year.I Expect You To Die 2 is the perfect James Bond simulator, putting you into the shoes of a bonafide international superspy on a mission to take down a criminal organization no matter what convoluted traps stand in your way.ĭuring this escape room-esque experience, you’ll have to outsmart villains as you deflect hidden lasers installed in a private jet, avoid setting off toxic gas in a secret base and repair an elevator so you can reach the criminal mastermind before their plan comes together. Pavlov VR isn't the first game announced for PSVR 2 – the developer of sci-fi exploration game Low-Fi has previously said it will be coming to the platform. PSVR 2 (or whatever it ends up being called) was announced this month, and we've since seen its new haptic-enabled controllers. Pavlov VR recently made our list of the 10 coolest Action VR games on Steam. Here is a clip from Pavlov Shack on Quest 2, with some players testing the game mode Trouble In Terrorist Town. Davevillz replied "me too" to a fan who said they were waiting on the App Lab release, suggesting it's still on the way. The game's App Lab launch was said to be coming "soon" back in February. Shack Beta will be free everywhere too where applicable. Price has been decided as $24 for Shack in the Oculus Store and everywhere, we decided for price parity to have the less TOS conflicts across Steam, Oculus and Playstation (yes we just got accepted as a partner last week). Davevillz also said that Vankrupt Games "got accepted as a partner" with PlayStation recently, and in a reply to a fan, clarified that the game will come to PSVR2, as "PSVR1 doesn't have the fidelity for Pavlov." The Pavlov Shack versions of the game will also feature cross-play with one another, but not with the current PC version of the game, which davevillz said "will never be crossplay."
